We are all aware of the dangers of smoking, such as heart disease, strokes and cancer. Smoking also affects the health of our mouths and is usually associated with gum disease. Smoking will stain your teeth and fillings and can cause halitosis (bad breath) and oral (mouth) cancer.

At inspections, we always check your mouth for signs of cancer and other diseases which may show up in the mouth. We can give advice on quitting smoking as part of our prevention ethos.
